What I Do

I provide coaching for individuals, couples, and polycules. I believe that everyone already has everything they need to change, grow, and thrive. I take a holistic approach and work with you as a whole person, including who you are today, your past, and the path you’ve taken along the way. Working together, I help you heal trauma and address the day to day issues that stand in the way of autonomy and self-actualization. As you do this, you will feel more and more free to be your authentic self and live the life that you want to build for yourself.

I provide services exclusively in English. We can meet in my office in Berlin-Steglitz, my home office in Berlin-Lichterfelde, or online from anywhere in the world.

I work with a network of other coaches and therapists who provide additional focused coaching (such as parent coaching) and other services such as Expressive Arts Therapy, group sessions, and workshops. If you or I notice that a different kind of session or coach could give you a deeper or different insight into a part of yourself, we can work together with them to facilitate that.

My Specialties

Neurodivergence

Neurodivergence

Neurodivergent people (Autism, ADHD, CPTSD, etc.) have many needs and struggles that are often misunderstood and unsupported in traditional coaching and therapeutic modalities. Being autistic myself, I am passionate about helping others like me thrive in an environment that can be difficult for us. Through my own experience and a network of other neurodivergent coaches I will help you build a new set of tools and help you better understand yourself and your world.
Polyamory/Non-monogamy

Polyamory/Non-monogamy

With fewer non-traditional relationship examples in the world it can be harder to build polyamorous/non-monogamous relationships. Having practiced polyamory for many years, I understand a lot of those challenges. Whether you’re just starting to explore non-monogamy or you have a long experienced history, non-monogamous relationships present relational issues that can stay hidden in monogamy. I can help address insecurities and fears and enable you to build your own version of relationships that fit your needs and desires.
Queer/LGBTQ+

Queer/LGBTQ+

I am experienced with working with different gender identities and queer sexualities. Being queer and genderqueer myself I also have lots of personal experience in this context. This allows me to provide a safe space to express yourself and help you on your journey to explore and understand who you are. I also understand relationship dynamics specific to queer relationships and can help you navigate the unique complexities that often arise outside of the heteronormative.

Who I Am

I (he/him) am a personal coach living in Berlin, Germany. I’m neurodivergent (autistic), genderqueer (AMAB) and queer, and polyamorous. Originally from Canada, I have spent a long career in the tech industry alongside my passion for coaching other people to help them grow and thrive in their own lives.

Since childhood, I have been through the process of diagnosis and healing in many different ways. I have experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Talk Therapy, radical personal coaching, and many other therapeutic modalities. I’ve worked with other professionals as both client and student and bring a variety of therapeutic philosophies into my coaching practice to help others avoid the challenges I faced going through the process myself. Person-centered therapy, Coherence therapy, and Radical Therapy are just a few of the tools I draw on to provide a syncretic coaching practice to my clients.

FAQ

What happens in a session?

In a typical session we have a quick chat about how things have been since the last session, then discuss what’s most important to you at the time. This could be current struggles in your life, past experiences that are significant to you, or just small things that you’ve had on your mind.

We address current struggles in two ways, by looking at techniques for managing them in the immediate term, and by looking into the underlying causes. By recognizing patterns and healing trauma we can lessen or stop these struggles from recurring. For past experiences and other things on your mind, we can talk about them in depth including their origins and how they continue to affect your life today.

We finish with a quick recap of the session and decompression to prepare for the rest of your day.

How long is a session?
Standard sessions are 60 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples and groups. Other sessions such as facilitated experiences or assessments may be a bit longer.
How often should I see you?
At the beginning we tend to cover a lot of ground, both in building a trusting relationship between us, learning your history, and taking the first big steps in understanding yourself. Ideally we would meet weekly to start. We can meet regularly but less often if scheduling or cost is an issue for you. I aim to empower you to do more of the work on your own, so later in our coaching relationship you may feel that biweekly or even monthly sessions are enough. We can make schedule adjustments as your needs change, such as around holidays or stressful times in your life.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Except in the case of illness, late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session rate.
